1. Our Return Policy
Due to the nature of liquid homecare and hygiene products, we follow a selective return policy. Returns are accepted ONLY in the following situations:
- You received a damaged product — the bottle is cracked, leaking, or the seal is broken upon delivery.
- You received the wrong product — the product delivered does not match what you ordered.
- You received an empty or tampered bottle — the product quantity is significantly less than stated.
- The product is expired — manufacturing date shows the product is past its best-before date.
2. What is NOT eligible for return
- Change of mind — if you ordered and simply decided you do not want the product.
- Dislike of fragrance — if the scent is not to your preference after opening.
- Partially used products — any product that has been opened and used beyond checking for damage.
- Products not purchased directly from shamilzlifestyle.com or our official marketplace listings.
3. How to Raise a Return Request
Step 1: Email us at shamilzlifestyle26@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Step 2: Subject line: RETURN REQUEST — [Your Order ID]
Step 3: Include in the email: your order ID, a clear photo or short video of the issue, and your preferred resolution (replacement or refund).
Step 4: Our team will respond within 24-48 working hours.
Step 5: If your return is approved, we will arrange pickup or ask you to ship the product back depending on your location.
4. Refund Process
Once your return is approved and the product is received and verified by our team:
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method — UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.
- For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer. Please provide your bank account details when raising the return request.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. Replacement Policy
In most cases of damaged, wrong, or empty products, we prefer to send a replacement rather than a refund — because we want you to experience Shamilz products properly. Replacements are dispatched within 2-3 business days of return approval.
6. Marketplace Orders (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho)
If you purchased from Amazon, Flipkart, or Meesho, please follow the return process on the respective platform directly. Each platform has its own return window and process which supersedes our direct website policy for that purchase.
